Dear Friends,

            We are pleased to announce the upcoming event: The 2nd
Asian-American Table-Tennis Tournament of Tampa Bay. The event is organized
by USF Friends of Internationals and sponsored by Chinese American
Association of Tampa Bay (CAAT),USF Chinese Student Schaller Association
(CSSA), Tampa Bay Chinese-American Table-Tennis Club (TCTTC). This is the
opportunity to play the game and to meet friends. So please come joining the
tournament. The following are the detailed information.

Date: March 28, 2009, Saturday

Time: 1:00PM -- 6:00 PM

Place:  BCM building on campus at USF.  (www.internationals.org)

The tournament features three games: (1) Men's Single, (2) Women's Single,
and (3) Mixed Double.

Registration fees: $3/per player, $5/per player (onsite) and $2/non-player
guest with free pizza lunch and water.

Registration deadline: March 26, 2009.

Trophies or medals will be awarded to the first three players in each
category. The detailed rules of the games will be determined based on the
number of participating players and the schedule. So grab a ping pong paddle
and get yourself warmed up for this exciting event! Thank you for your

*Apartment for rent!* There is a room for rent (with a personal bathroom) in
a 2 bed/2 bath apartment at the Oak Ramble Apartments (on the USF Bull
Runner Shuttle C line, Skipper Rd.), starting May 9, 2009. Male and female
are welcome.rent is $485 (including utilities and basic internet
connection). Cable TV connection is currently subscribed. Payment for the
cable TV connection is not included in the monthly rental. A choice to the
subscription is optional. You will be residing with an USF English Language
Institute's (ELI) female English language instructor. She is a very nice
lady to live with who only ask for mutual respect of personal privacy and be
a responsible roommate. If you are looking for a quiet and clean place to
reside, this will be your ideal choice. Also, she may be a good individual
(certified ESL instructor) to practice your spoken English language. If you

*GLO-BULL*: The ELI and ISSS offices are teaming up with several
organizations on campus to have the Glo-Bull week. It is USF’s special week
to focus on internationals. There will be a full schedule out soon. We will
be at the MLK Plaza and Marshall Center on Wednesday from 12-3 and will at
some point there-in be serving lunch with the ISSS And Eli groups.

3*: Paint Ball:* Ever played? Here is your chance…. This event will be
Saturday April 4th at 10AM until we get tired enough or run out of paint
balls. It will be located at Blitzkrieg on Bearss and i-275.

needed and we will have a free BBQ (hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and drinks)
at the field. Cost will be $37 (This is for all your equipment, gun, all day
use of the field and 500 paintballs) and an additional $8 for 500 more

4: *Beach Trip*: We are planning a trip to Clearwater Beach Saturday April
