[USFTSA.com] watch out this small crime

Here is a possible "crime" prevention that I would like to share with you all.  About 6 years ago, I was at highway 19th at Pineallas Park Florida. There were a couples stopped me and stated that they run out the gas and they lived some where far away so they are walking. They were hoping if I can give them so money so they can take the taxi. Anyway, they even claim his wife is pregnant. They were well-dress and looks very normal so I did not suspect much. However, I always wondering afterward that why don't they take the bus because there is a bus stop within 1 mintues of walk distant.  But as the time goes by, I did not think too much about it.
 
Today April 22nd 2009, around the same area on High way 19 in Pinellas Park, Florida. I once again met a couple that was in the similiar situation, but since it was 6 years ago, I don't recall their face. But there were a lot of similiar and here are what they said to us:
 
" we run out the gas and we live in XXX, can you give us ride there? " then they showed us 10 dollar in their hand. 
 
so I ask them, why don't they take taxi? "oh we dont' have money, we don't have money at home, our father is coming tommorrow"
 
then there were a bus drive by, I pointed the bus and said why don't you take the bus, the couple act so calm and normal and said "oh that bus isn't even going to stop" (yeah, but I don't see you are running either. The bus stop is like right there within 1 mintues distant).  So the normal thing to do is wait at the bus stop because they said they are going to the east bay which is the same direction of the bus going.  So I observed and  I did not see they wait at the bus stop either. They just kept walking and approach others like they approach me. 
 
Please share this with your families, friends and anyone. I think it is great to help people but this type behavior is unacceptable. If you run into people like them. please just give them enough money to take the bus and showed them where the bus stop is.
