Friends of Internationals:  Are here to be of service to all international

PING  PONG TOURNAMENT   

We are pleased to announce the upcoming event: The 2nd Asian-American
Table-Tennis Tournament of Tamp Bay. The event is organized by Chinese
American Association of Tampa Bay (CAAT) and sponsored by USF Friends of
Internationals, Tampa Bay Chinese-American Table-Tennis Club (TCTTC), and
USF Asian Alliance.  This is the opportunity to play the game and to meet
friends. So please come joining the tournament. The following are the
detailed information.

Date: May 10, 2008, Saturday Time: 10:00AM -- 4:00 PM Place: Friend of
Internationals, BCM Building on 13110 North 50th Street (on the Campus)
(www.internationals.org)

The tournament features three games: (1) Men's Single, (2) Women's Single,
and (3) Mixed Double.

Registration fees: $2/per player, $3/per player (onsite) and $1/non-player
guest with free pizza lunch and water.  Registration deadline: May 8, 2008.

category. The detailed rules of the games will be determined based on the

Super Wal-Mart Shopping Trip

Friday, May 2, 2008, FI will take a Grocery/Household Item shopping trip to
the Super Wal-Mart in New Tampa. We plan to leave the BCM/FI building at
10:00 a.m.  And return when the shopping is done. This is specifically a
time for those who have no vehicle and/or just need a ride to the store. If
meeting at the building on campus is not convenient, we are also able to
pickup at the following places.  Schedule stops 10:05 Administration bus
stop:  wait under covered stop).10:10a.m. Bull Market/ Campus Walk bus stop
on 42nd St. 10:15 A.M. Willow Brook/ Breckenridge bus stop on 42nd St., if

Conversational English Classes

There are English classes being held at Temple Terrace Baptist Church for
directions www.fbctt.org/new.html#directions Monday & Tuesday 9AM - 12 noon.

Tuesday & Wednesday 6.30pm - 8pm.

Friends of Internationals offers English conversational classes open to all
students. Medium to advanced level Tuesday at 2:00pm.The classes are free to
all students, visiting scholars and family members. Spanish classes will
change the meeting time to Friday 5:00pm-6:00pm www.usfbcm.com/map.php
