Hello Welcome students and friends!

Friends of Internationals are here to be a service to all international
students. We especially want to extend a warm WELCOME to the new students
and encourage each and every one to email us if we can be of help.

Friday Activity September 28

This Friday night is a USF football game.  If you would like to go to the
game you need to go to the Athletic office on campus and show your USF ID to
get a free green bracelet so you can get into the game.  If you need a ride
to the game please email HYPERLINK

know you are coming please include your cell phone number in the email.

at 4:00 pm on Friday to tailgate and attend the game.  We will have free
food before the game.

Super Wal-Mart Shopping Trip

Friday, September 28,  FI will take a Grocery/Household Item shopping trip
to the Super Wal-Mart in New Tampa. We plan to leave the BCM/FI building at
10:00 a.m. NEW  HOURS. and return when the shopping is done. This is
specifically a time for those who have no vehicle and/or just need a ride to
the store. If meeting at the building on campus is not convenient, we are
also able to pickup at the following places.  Schedule stops 10:05
Administration bus stop:  wait under covered stop).10:10a.m. Bull Market/
Campus Walk bus stop on 42nd St. 10:15 A.M. Willow Brook/ Breckenridge bus
stop on 42nd St. ,  If you’d like to be picked up at any of these spots
respond to this email indicating which stop. If you’d like to go, reply with
an email by 10 A.M. on Thursday September 27. Be at your stop on time. 

 Conversational English Classes

Friends of Internationals offers English conversational classes open to all
students, scholars, and their families. These classes are FREE. The English
classes will meet every Tuesday 3:30 pm-5:00pm and Friday 1:00pm-2:30pm at
the BCM.  Also starting Tuesday October 2, evening English classes
7:00pm-9:00pm. at the BCM. Everyone is Welcome

Furniture Available:

There is a wooden drop leaf table available at the BCM. First come first
serve.

Host Meal Opportunity – North American Family

The Host Meal opportunity involves visiting a North American family who
would like to have you to their home for a meal. If you would like to sign
up, just reply to this email with your phone number and home country.
Someone will then contact you inviting you to their home! These families are
interested in getting to know you as you learn more about the culture and
people here in the United States.

International Friendship Program

  FI offers you the opportunity to be matched together with an American
friend. This gives you the chance to have someone help you as you get used
to your new home. If you are interested in participating, respond to this
