Hello! 

Welcome students and friends! To the new students, Friends of Internationals
hopes to be at your service especially for the first two months of your
stay. For the returning students, welcome back!  

I am sending this e mail for and behalf Friends of Internationals and for
the new leadership of the organization. As you have been informed Roland,
the former Director, has moved to North Carolina to pursue his studies. Our
new leaders are Bob and Colleen.   They have been serving/working for
international students for several years in New York. We are blessed to have
them in USF.

Here are some of the events and activities with Friends of Internationals

Game Night/Refreshments   Meet new people Have fun at the BCM/Fl building
Fri: Sept.21, from 7:P.M. to 10:P.M. If you need a ride let us know by noon
on the 20th.

We are able to have pickups  at the following places.  Schedule stops 6:45pm
Administration bus stop: ( wait under covered stop).6:50pm. Bull Market/
Campus Walk bus stop on 42nd St.,

6:55pm  Willow Brook/ Breckenridge bus stop on 42nd St.

Super Wal-Mart Shopping Trip

            This coming Friday, September 14 FI will take a
Grocery/Household Item shopping trip to the Super Wal-Mart in New Tampa. We
plan to leave the BCM/FI building HYPERLINK

10:00a.m. NEW  HOURS. and return when the shopping is done. This is
specifically a time for those who have no vehicle and/or just need a ride to
the store.. If meeting at the building on campus is not convenient, we are
also able to have pickups  at the following places.  Schedule stops 10:05
Administration bus stop: ( wait under covered stop).10:10a.m. Bull Market/
Campus Walk bus stop on 42nd St.,10:15A.M. Willow Brook/ Breckenridge bus
stop on 42nd St. ,  If you’d like to be picked up at any of these spots
respond to this email indicating which stop. If you’d like to go, reply with
an email by 10 A.M. ON Thursday  September 13. Then be at your stop  on
time. 

 Conversational English and French Classes

            Friends of Internationals offers English and French
conversational courses open to all students, scholars, and their families.
These classes are FREE of charge and there is no need to pre-register – just
show up ready to learn! The start of classes for English will begin Tuesday
September 11, 3:30 pm-5:00pm and Friday September 14, 1:00pm-2:30pm at the
BCM. 

Furniture Available: 

T.V, two computer desks, record player just come to BCM and pick it up. You
need a truck to transport.  This is on a first come first serve basis.

I have a newer 4 bedroom, 3  bathroom home and a 3 car garage at Wesley
Chapel for rent.  The house is ready for immediately move-in and has a very
attractive price tag of only $1395/month.  It is great for a family or
couple of students to share. We will  consider  rent to own option. For more

Host Meal Opportunity – North American Family

 Short term lease this fall semester for a 1 bedroom/ 1 bathroom apartment

available for sublease from Sep 26, 2007 to Jan 27, 2008. This town house is
located in a beautiful and quiet community, Carlton Arms North (on Fletcher
Avenue), which is a guarded complex with 24 hours security.

The bedroom is furniture with a nice mattress (w/ box & frame) and 2 desks.
I pay 458 per month plus half utilities (electricity and internet, cable is
