[Genealib] Reduced Hours at Fairfax County Public Library's Virginia Room

As of July 1, our hours (and all the regional branches) will be:
 
Mon-Wed 10-8
Thu-Fri     10-6
Sat          10-5
Sun           1-5
 
All our exempt staff (the good folks who worked every Sunday and served
as pool staff when we were short) are being terminated; Page hours have
been reduced dramatically and we are losing our full time Administrative
Assistant. This amounts to a reduction of 8 hours/week of public service
time and all staff will be working an every sixth Sunday rotation in
addition to being scheduled every other Saturday. Our evening shift is
now 11:30-8.  We have had to cut periodical budget by 40% (thank
goodness for all those local newspapers that went out of business so we
were able to hold on to the bulk of the genealogy and local history
publications) and the book budget is down 15%. So even in a fairly
wealthy county we are feeling the pain.
 
We will be closed July 3 and 4 but open on Sunday July 5.
