Tracy - We have this title in our collection.
Erie Water West has the subtitle "A History of the Erie Canal 1792-1854", 449 pages, Univ of KY Press, 1966, paperback edition 1990. It is a good history of the canal but does not list names of those who traveled via the canal.

Does anyone own this book? The local genealogy society is considering ordering it for our collections thinking it might have names of some who settled in Ohio. Can anyone testify to it's worthiness for a genealogy collection?
