Just a reminder that if you've been waiting to register for a RUSA
preconference, now's the time! July will soon be here, and space is
limited for these awesome events.

This year's preconferences, all held on Friday, July 10 in Chicago, are:

--Reinvented Reference V...Discuss technology, assessment, collaboration
and reference staffing models in a collaborative, roundtable format.

--A Dialogue With the Aging Network and the Library Community: The New
Guidelines on Library and Information Services to Older Adults...Learn
about library collaborations with local organizations serving older
adults.

--Mastering Business Acumen (MBA) in a Day...Get the know-how you need
to provide confident business reference services.

--From Lincoln Logs to Linkin' Families...Uncover African-American and
Illinois-related genealogy resources with experts from the field.

Curious about what's behind these titles? Complete descriptions and
prices are available at the RUSA Blog:

If you are attending Annual Conference, these intensive workshops are
excellent add-ons to your professional development experience.

Can't stay for the whole conference? Come for just a preconference! You
can register for these ticketed events independent of conference.

And don't forget: a complete guide to RUSA @ Annual Conference,
including all of our excellent programming, is available for download
now:

Hope to see you soon in Chicago!
