Hello, Genealib-
I'm updating the list about some changes at the Newberry Library. After 
10 years at the Newberry, I'm moving on. My wife has accepted a job at 
the University of Michigan, so we are moving to Ann Arbor. I'll be 
working in the field of child care and freelance historical/genealogical 
research in the near term.

Matt Rutherford, who has done a great job as  the genealogy reference 
librarian here, will be taking over as Curator of Genealogy and Local 
History.

I hope to be occasionally writing about genealogy at my book's blog:

And I'll still be lurking on genealib.
