[Genealib] Sale of Periodicals?

Hi, Everyone,

 

I have a couple of questions for you which hopefully someone here can
answer. We, at the library in Henderson, are preparing to get rid of a large
portion of our periodical collection. These include American Heritage
(August 1956 - December 1979), National Geographic (1910 - 1990), Newsweek
(1951 - 2004), Time (1935 - 2004), Life (1937 - 2000), and U. S. News and
World Report (1960 - 2004).

 

My questions are regarding the sale of these collections. Do you know of any
market in which we may be able to sell them? Do you have any idea what they
might be worth to an institution or a collector? Please advise, and thanks
