Was that an Executive order or an execution order  :)  

My eyes are full of tears for the folks of Michigan.

If you read the Executive order in addition to the press release, it
gives some troubling words.

On pages 6-8 in section B on the Library of Michigan.

If I read it correctly (paragraph 8) - all ILL services are to be
terminated immediately.
All Non-Michigan genealogy resources are to "go away.' Further cost
savings are to be sought (additional hour reductions? Personnel
reductions?).

Depending on how you used the Library, both of these represent IMHO
significant impacts to the genealogy community at large. The latter will
hit on-site research particularly hard depending on what the disposition
of the items is. Their non-Michigan collection was tremendous.

Waiting anxiously for specifics (when they are know) from the HAL
librarians.
