Albany author William Joseph Kennedy wrote a series of novels covering
several generations of a fictional Irish-American Phelan family. Among
his works are Quinn's Book, Ironweed, Very Old Bones and The Flaming
Corsage. In one of his novels, he even included a genealogical chart.

I'm writing a blog article next week concerning fiction that includes a
genealogical theme or content. I'd love to hear about your favorite
titles with a brief description when possible. Please reply to me
directly at cbarkleyis at verizon.net by 12 January - the earlier the
better. Watch www.genealogyandfamilyhistory.com for the article which
will be posted on 16 January. Thanks in advance!
