Carolyn,
The following authors use existing records as basis for their stories. I've read their books & have enjoyed each & every one!
Eugenia Price writes in a 'Romance Style' & about Georgia.
James Alexander Thom & Allan Eckert write in a more 'manly style'. One book "Follow the River" features Mary Ingles, from Drapers Meadow in Virginia who escaped from Indian captivity in the 1700s. My husband's ancestors were in the same community at that time!
Our Society supported library is strictly research. However, we have a little section of the above authors & others that we allow to be checked out.
Sincerely,Peggy MorphewVolunteer Library AdministratorWest Valley Genealogical Society12222 N. 111th Ave.Youngtown, AZ 85363-1225>
