Should any of you have customers who mention that they are coming to
Washington, D. C. to research any time during the next week or so,
please remind them that many places will be closed on January 19 and 20
for the Presidential Inauguration. The DAR Library will be closed both
days among many other research centers. Checking a repository's online
calendar is a very good idea to determine closings.

The security folks are even closing all of the bridges and two major
in-bound interstates leading into the city from Northern Virginia
thereby isolating half of the world from the Commonwealth. Inaugurations
used to be fun events for those of us fortunate enough to live close
enough to attend the parade. Now, a lot of locals don't want to be
anywhere near downtown because of the restrictions. This should be fun
to watch from a safe (and warm) distance on television.

So, out of town visitors beware!!!!
