The DAR Library has many manuscript files from the Institute of American
Genealogy (called the "Virkus Collection"). Much of this has been
cataloged, specifically the family histories (Part IV) and charts (Part V).
There are also many boxes of files of information submitted for a
never-published 8th volume of the Compendium of American Genealogy. Some of
these files are cataloged, I chip away at the others.
This sounds to me like it might have been part of the family histories
section, but I find nothing cataloged as such now. Please note that much of
the Virkus/IAG material was dispersed before coming to the DAR Library.
Hope this helps - feel free to write if I might be of more assistance.
