Subject: [Genealib] Institute of American Genealogy?

I am trying to find a short manuscript for a fellow librarian who is
researching her genealogy, which is listed in the Institute of American
Genealogy's library catalog book from 1939 (we found it using
HeritageQuest's book search). The manuscript, entitled "Misc. notes on the
family in N.C." by Joseph Wheeless is 8 pages long and is described on page
79 of the IAG book.

It is my understanding that the IAG is now defunct and has since donated its
collection to another library. Does anyone know which library has the IAG
collection? Or does anyone know another place to look for something like
this? I have looked in WorldCat and have contacted regional libraries, to no
avail. I am hoping that the IAG collection might include this document.

Thanks for any information you can provide!
