[Genealib] Map accessioning

Hello all,

 

Our Society supported library has many maps that need to be accessioned into our catalog.  What type of numbering system do you suggest?  I want the designation to be indicative of the type of material & where it is stored/shelved.  For instance, we use the designation MF followed by the number to indicate that it is a microfiche.
