Larry,
Take a look at the next page (image 17 on AncestryLE). At the bottom of
that page someone is listed as what looks like "Hind Hand," but most likely
is Hired Hand.

We are working on an 1880 census record from Prairie County Arkansas that
lists "Hind" as the relationship for one gentleman to head of household.
They are listed as boat builders, so we thought maybe he spent most of his
time on the back end, but that doesn't make sense to be in the relationship
field. Also thought it might actually be "Hand", but it is clearly an i,
not an a.
Any suggestions? It is Kenneth Thompson, living in the Steve Claycomb
residence.
