Hi Wanda:
The National Institute for Genealogical Studies, in partnership with the
Professional Learning Centre, Faculty of Information, University of Toronto,
offers about 150 ONLINE courses dealing with various topics in genealogy.
There are 6 Certificate programs available in the records of the United
States, Canada, England, Ireland, Scotland and Germany and a specialized
Genealogical Librarianship Certificate
This program has been extremely successful! Over 45,000 course registrations
have been received to date. We believe the success is in large part to the
quality of the in-depth course materials. Also, students enjoy the
flexibility they have --- you can study in your own time, at your own pace
and in your own place...
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Subject: [Genealib] Programs for school age youth/ Online classes for adults
Hello,
Has any public librarians hosted /coordinated local history or family
history "camps" or programs for youth during the summer months?
Anyone offered online genealogy classes for adults?
Thanks.
