Here is your opportunity to promote local projects with libraries, genealogical and historical societies that preserve and make accessible historical documents.  Not only to get the name of your organization out there but also the many tireless volunteers who quietly save these documents for future generations.  Brag about your efforts and your records (those golden nugget that many of us do not exist except for these types of stories)!

Please see below the posting by Ancestry Magazine:

Does your library have a history saving/record saving/transcribing/digitizing effort in which the public can get involved? Ancestry Magazine wants to hear all about it for an upcoming article about unique ways family historians can help preserve history for everyone. Send details about your own project to editor at ancestrymagazine.com. You'll be contacted if information about your project is chosen for publication.
