Technically, it's probably possible with most of them, but it may be a
real hair-tearer, especially if they are throwbacks to the DOS era and
assume they are the only CD on the computer (thinking of the Family
Tree Maker CDs here).
It may be as simple as creating a separate partition on the hard drive
to mimic a CD drive, or you might need one of the "virtual drive"
programs to fool the software.
