[Genealib] CD/ROMs

We have a growing collection of CD-ROMs for public use. They are used
in-house at two stand-alone PC's. They include church, probate, land,
military, census, tax, and vital records; genealogical, historical and
archaeological reports and magazines. While they do not replace our
online subscriptions (such as Ancestry Library Edition and Heritage
Quest), they provide useful data not otherwise available. The Binns
digital images of Virginia tax records (selected counties) is a recent
welcome addition.
Our department's space is somewhat limited, and the CD-ROMs allow us
much more latitude in our holdings. We have a tabletop revolving tower
that holds up to 150 jewel cases. Would recommend retaining the
service if you can find the space.

Subject: [Genealib] CD/ROMs
Does any library out there still have CD/ROMs for public use?
We have been making ours available up until now, but I want the space
for other things and am about to close down the operation.
