A degree path can certainly enhance our pursuits in many ways. If you're interested in obtaining a degree, BU's offerings might be the right path.

If your goal is to be a recognized genealogist, a path other than a degree program would be more efficient. Check out the 2 most recognized genealogical credentialing bodies (ICAPGen <www.icapgen.org> and the Board for Certification of Genealogists <www.bcgcertification.org>). Also, be aware of Rootsweb's active Transitional Genealogists Forum for those considering pursuing genealogy professionally.
