[Genealib] Beginning Genealogy Class

HI Gail,
Good luck finding a good name. Sometimes simple is good like "How to
trace your family
history" or "Finding your Roots". I used to teach a class called
"Discover Your Irish Roots"
with a lot of beginning information thrown in.
Then when I went to library school, I put together an online genealogy
tutorial entitled
"Librarian's Guide to Helping Patrons with Genealogical Research". (That
was ten years ago,
and long names were in.) I have recently updated most of that site, and
my page on teaching
beginners' classes, with lots of tips, is located at:
