I call it Genealogy 101 (we're an academic library) and have several variations depending on whether I'm giving it to students, the general public, or other librarians.

Subject: [Genealib] Beginning Genalogy Class

I will be conducting a my first beginning genealogy class in the fall. I am wondering what to call it. Beginning genalogy sounds so bland and the rest of our library programs seem to have catchy names. I'm wondering if I should call it something else, yet I don't want to deceive anyone into thinking it is something it is not. For those of you who already do this, do you call it beginning genealogy or some other name?

Thanks,
