Gail,
I call my class "Beans and Cornbread Genealogy" as a tribute to my
southern farming ancestors. I explain in the introduction that beans
and cornbread were staples and basic food for them, and this class is
the basics for beginning a family history project.
Thanks,
Lynette

Subject: [Genealib] Beginning Genalogy Class
I will be conducting a my first beginning genealogy class in the fall.
I am wondering what to call it. Beginning genalogy sounds so bland and
the rest of our library programs seem to have catchy names. I'm
wondering if I should call it something else, yet I don't want to
deceive anyone into thinking it is something it is not. For those of
you who already do this, do you call it beginning genealogy or some
other name?
Thanks,
Gail Grunst
