Tom
I expect you are going to be bombarded by inquiries on this. I would love to have you do the Boot Camp at our public library in Steubenville Ohio, SE Ohio area. I am sure you have a full schedule but maybe we can work something out.

Call it "Genealogy Boot Camp" - I started a series with that name and gave all day sessions around the country for state genealogy societies and for state/regional library associations (Mountain Plains LA; New England Lib Assn etc) - I found that that title was a lot of fun and drove enthusiasm.
Then emphasize that you'll have practical tips and advice and not detailed instructions on resources that they will never ever use.
It was a lot of fun to do. In fact, if anyone wants help with a Genealogy Boot Camp - I'll come and speak for you (for free - I don't charge for speaking). Let me know. We can do this.

I will be conducting a my first beginning genealogy class in the fall. I am wondering what to call it. Beginning genalogy sounds so bland and the rest of our library programs seem to have catchy names. I'm wondering if I should call it something else, yet I don't want to deceive anyone into thinking it is something it is not. For those of you who already do this, do you call it beginning genealogy or some other name?
Thanks,
