Call it "Genealogy Boot Camp" - I started a series with that name and gave
all day sessions around the country for state genealogy societies and for
state/regional library associations (Mountain Plains LA; New England Lib
Assn etc) - I found that that title was a lot of fun and drove enthusiasm.

Then emphasize that you'll have practical tips and advice and not detailed
instructions on resources that they will never ever use.

It was a lot of fun to do. In fact, if anyone wants help with a Genealogy
Boot Camp - I'll come and speak for you (for free - I don't charge for
speaking). Let me know. We can do this.
