[Genealib] How I got started

A family tree had been professionally compiled in the late 1930's because a child was born with a birth defect. The parents wanted to see if there was a family problem. Copies of the tree had drifted through the family. In the late 1970's I set out to "prove" the undocumented tree my family had. In the process I discovered a generation was missing from our copy. I got hooked and joined various lineage societies. I wanted "outside" verification of my process.

Now it's just silly. An entire room dedicated to genealogy, two and a half walls lined with bookshelves, one wall with file cabinets, a closet full of files....
