According to my tech support: "In the Winnefox Library System, we use
VBScript within ASP (Active Server Pages) to generate dynamically-driven
web pages that interface with either Microsoft Access or SQL (Structured
Query Language) databases (which - Access or SQL - depends mostly on the
size of the database). Not sure how better to provide a less geeky
explanation? :-)"

Our indexes are:

http://www.oshkoshpubliclibrary.org/vitalrecords.html

http://www.fdlpl.org/vital.html

http://www.winneconnelibrary.org/vital/

http://www.winnefox.org/waushara/

The first two are on SQL and the last two in Access.

Subject: [Genealib] Obituary Index software

I am looking to find out what software people are using for their
obituary indexes. We have a growing index that we'd like to eventually
make available online.

I've heard that Past Perfect would be useful for this purpose? Is anyone
using it for obits? Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your help,
