Hi Melanie
Same company, different product. It is the number one destination on our
website.
It has been real easy to use, as I have two volunteers do most of the
inputting.
We get a monthly file all all obits from the newspaper and then we make
individual PDFs of each of them, dump them in the server, and then attach
the obit files to the individual records. We are now going back into our
obit files and inputting them as well. We also have been experimenting with
photographing a cemetery and attaching pictures of the tombstones.

Larry,
Is this the same software that is used for event booking/reservations?

Could you tell me how you've implemented the obit part?

We use Evanced, which can be used for putting the entire obit online.

Subject: [Genealib] Obituary Index software
I am looking to find out what software people are using for their
obituary indexes. We have a growing index that we'd like to eventually make
available online.
I've heard that Past Perfect would be useful for this purpose? Is anyone
using it for obits? Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your help,
