Hi!
Is the patron possibly looking for the "Encyclopedia of Virginia
Biography" by Smith Spangler Turner?? It may be "well known" but there
aren't very many libraries that have it.

Subject: [Genealib] Spanglers cyclopedia?

We are attempting to help one of our member libraries assist a patron
looking for "Spangler's cyclopedia".

We have tried Google and OCLC under various renditions of that
information. [Spangler, Spanglers, Spangler's?] [cyclopedia,
cyclopaedia, encyclopedia, encyclopaedia) and can't seem to find
anything.

The patron seems to think it is "well known".

The library will be requesting more information from the patron
(location, subject, etc.), but I decided to pick the community brain
in the meantime.

Does this ring a bell with anyone? Any clues would be appreciated.

Kathy
