Three Jewish genealogy websites are included on Family Tree Magazine's annual "101 Best
Genealogy Web Sites for 2008" (http://www.familytreemagazine.com/101sites/2008).
The three sites in the "Best for Jewish Researchers" category
(http://www.familytreemagazine.com/101sites/2008/jewish.asp) are
*Avotaynu (http://www.avotaynu.com), a publisher of products for Jewish genealogy,
*JewishGen: The Home of Jewish Genealogy (http://www.jewishgen.org), and
* Schelly Talalay Dardashti's "Tracing the Tribe: The Jewish Genealogy Blog"
(http://tracingthetribe.blogspot.com), created in August 2006 under the
Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA) umbrella and now independent.
I've had an e-mail notification subscription for Tracing the Tribe since it went online in
August 2006. It's been extremely useful to me in keeping up with the latest happenings in
Jewish genealogy.
Congratulations, and thank you for providing information essential to the Jewish
genealogical community!
