Marjeanne,

     We have been on the waiting list for eight years and have just
finally received a contract.  Now to see if it will go through the city
fathers!  The city's auditors require all departments to keep exacting
track of all money, and purchasing orders, at best, once a week.

For that reason, and many others, I am contemplating having all
borrowers bring in checks or money orders made out to the Family History
Library.  We will copy and send the checks in with the orders.  Do you
think that will work?  Any other ideas you can pass on?
