[Genealib] Microfilm Reader Question

We have a Minolta MS-6000 microfilm reader. It has frozen up on us. Our service provider is trying to cut back on service to our area, so I'm trying to look for alternative ideas before I call them back again. 
 
I would like to hear back from anyone that has this microfilm reader or any other type of Minolta reader. Basically the buttons have frozen up and we're not able to change any settings or print. We tried all we can think of, turning it off for a period of time, unplugging it, unplugging different connections, turning the printer off, etc. Any ideas?
