[Genealib] Public Librarian/Historian job title

I am looking for fellow public librarians who also perform the duties of "town or city historian" as part of their normal job. I am hoping to find some that have had an adjustment to their job titles, and to their compensation to acknowledge their expertise. I work in a large suburban public library, have been here 25 years, and do the local history (which I love). I have become the "go to" person on this topic in the community. I am attempting to become reclassified in the union to better reflect my job and I need to submit examples of other librarians who have been acknowledged this way. Anyone who thinks they can help and would be willing to divulge their salary to me, please reply to me off list. Your personal name would not be submitted in my paperwork.  Thanks a lot!
