Our research note for August describes Minnesota Maps Online, a 
collection of geographic resources for family historians and others. The 
site includes the original land survey maps from the Office of the 
Secretary of State as well as several early landownership atlases. My 
favorite, Andreas' Illustrated and Historical Atlas of Minnesota from 
1874 is included here. (This is the atlas that is often broken up and 
sold as separate plates at antique stores.) There are also links for 
other resources.
