Salutations, Listmembers:

While preparing for a workshop on Civil War research, I came across a statement that Georgia began taking an annual census of Civil War veterans and widows in 1906 and continued to do so to the 1930s. A web search resulted in finding extractions of Montgomery and Taylor Co. censuses, but I could find no other references to this census. I would be grateful for any enlightenment on this interesting subject.

Thanks,
Nancy
