Genetic genealogy is certainly a hot topic these days. Here are two
prominent news stories in the press in just the last 24 hours. Now we
may need to become scientists, as well as librarians and genealogists!
<grin>

1. The October 8, 2007 edition of NY Times published a front-page
article about tracking Christopher Columbus' roots.

2. CBS' 60 Minutes did a 15-minute segment on October 7, 2007 about
genetic genealogy. There are also some interesting viewer/reader
comments on the website.

Note: If the above URLs get "word-wrapped" on your screen (i.e.,
multiple lines), you'll need to paste them together in your browser to
open up the web pages.
