Vertical files.  Patrons will donate family charts, etc.  This stuff is 
too small to catalog and the good old VF retains its usefulness.

Not only lots of plugs, but heavy duty circuits.  Our copiers frequently 
quit in mid-copy because they've literally run out of power.  The 1970s 
builders never anticipated laser scan photocopiers. 
Micro-reader/printers pull a lot of current too.
