Hello Deena,

The environment is a large factor. As far as climate
control make sure that humidity control is not overlooked.
It is sometimes hard to get people to look beyond
temperature control.

The room our collection is housed in has very large
windows. Not only is this a problem with light levels but
we are in a hurricane prone area so my anxiety level is
elevated during Hurricane Season hoping we don't have one
that tosses debris through the windows. Keeping windows to
a minimum or to a reasonable size is important.

We have a 3M security gate just for our room.

Feel free to contact me about any other questions.

I would love to have more storage and work space. This
building and room was designed with little of either. This
is very important.
