The Erie Society for Genealogical Research is hosting a 35th Anniversary Genealogical Conference on Saturday, June 9, from 9AM to 4PM, at the Raymond M. Blasco Memorial Library in Erie, Pennsylvania. There will be three nationally known speakers for the one day event: Dick Eastman of Eastman's Online Genealogy Newsletter, Stephen Morse, developer of the One-Step search tools which includes Ellis Island, and James Beidler who is a member of the PA State Historic Records Advisory Board & Executive Director of the Genealogical Society of PA. Fees: Members of Erie Society for Genealogical Research - $35, Non-member - $40 (includes membership). Lunch is optional for $8.
The Erie Historical Society will be offering a Guided Tour of Erie's Historic Downtown on the Friday evening before the conference for $4.
