Determine the main names being researched and offer it for auction on ebay.
Contact Salt Lake and see if the Mormons want it.
Contact some of the family name societies and see if they want it for postage.

Subject: [Genealib] Donated family files
Recently our local historical society received three boxes full of
genealogical research. The owner had passed away and no one in her family
was interested in the material. The historical society is not equipped to
handle the donation (they're more interested in local history than genealogy
and the families in this research are not local) and our library also is not
equipped to handle this.
Her work amounts to approximately 12 to 15 extra-large binders with family
group sheets. I cannot bring myself to discard this woman's extensive
research; however, I don't know where to turn. Any ideas?
Thank you,
Keela N. Pfaff
