I am in Samford preparing for IGHR the moment, but when I return to Heritage
Books I will see about reprinting (as print on demand) GPAI volumes 1, 2, 6,
7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 as unbound copies (otherwise they would be comb
bindings or stapled), then you can bind them as you will.
Would that be acceptable? Volume 29 is a little more problematic, but I
believe that I can, given time do the same thing.
Other libraries that are in similar circumstances should contact me off line
at orders at HeritageBooks.com with their desires for missing copies where
unbound copies will meet their requirements.
In its time the Genealogical Periodical Annual Index (GPAI) was better than
sliced bread for finding the elusive genealogical article in that elusive
society journal. Indexed at the name level rather than the title and
including surname publications. It has its flaws, but was a great tool when
it worked.

Subject: [Genealib] GPAI
I would like to complete my set of the Genealogical Periodical Annual Index
(GPAI), but I am missing volumes 1-2, 6-12 and 29. Does anyone know of a
source for them? Heritage Books has some of the volumes, but not these, and
they do not anticipate having any more? Any ideas?
