When they sent out the 2000 census I received the short form. I went online
and printed the long form which I filled out and placed in my genealogical
records.
Also, the questions were to be answered as of a specific date (don't
remember what they chose for 2000). I was waiting for that day to fill out
the form but I received a letter or post card reminding me to fill it out
and return it as soon as possible. i.e. before that date!
