Trevia:

I am not a librarian, but I do get the emails that genealib sends around. If you could email me a copy of your outline on "Tracing the Old Homestead", it would mean a great deal to me. I am new at genealogy and I need all the help I can get.

My email: donna at health.ok.gov

Thank you,

Lynette, I have Betsy J. Green's "Discovering the History of Your House and Neighborhood," that I highly recommend. I also have my outline "Tracing the Old Homestead" from last summer's Angelina College Genealogy Conference lecture if anyone would like a copy. Just request off-list with your name & location.

Subject: [Genealib] history of one's house

Dear colleagues,

Can someone please recommend a book or two on how to trace the history of one's house? I don't need anything on architectural styles, I have books on that, but rather how to trace deeds, ownership, etc.

thanks to all,
