History Section Dinner

Going to ALA Mid-winter? Consider joining the History Section for our
traditional Sunday night dinner. You don't have to be an "active"
member of the Section or even a member at all. Attending the History
Section dinner is actually a good way to introduce yourself to the
section, for the Section to introduce its self to you, and a way to
get a feel for our goings on. All are welcome and don't hesitate to
bring a guest.

In Seattle we will be meeting on Sunday, January 22, at 6:30 pm. at:

Ivar's Original Acres of Clams

1001 Alaskan Way, Pier 54 (on the Seattle waterfront, next to the
ferry terminal)

206.587.6500

Ivar's Acres of Clams is one of Seattle's oldest restaurants, it is
right on the Seattle waterfront, and an easy walk or short taxi ride
from most hotels. Ivar's is a Northwest Tradition that began in 1938
when Ivar Haglund opened Seattle's first aquarium. Ivar realized the
aquarium visitors would get hungry during their visits and offered
them fish 'n chips.

We could not make arrangements for individual checks but have set up
the following menu choices for the evening for the convenience of the
group and to assist folks in planning their budgets.

Salads

Tossed green salad $5.95

Organic Field Greens Salad with pine nut encrusted goat cheese "Crouton" $7.50

Entrees (gratuity is included in the entree price)
