[Genealib] African American/Slave Genealogy Summary

This seems like a good time to invite all of you to test-drive the 
online catalog of the California Genealogical Society, accessible 
from www.calgensoc.org where the link is right near the top of the 
page.  As an example, on the Welcome page, click on the icon for 
Subjects, then on the next page fill in the box with the words 
"African American" (no quotes needed) and take a look at what we've 
got in our Library.  You can also search on "slave" and perhaps pick 
up a few books not listed under the first list of subject headings.

I'm quite proud of what we have in our collection, but of course it 
is never enough.
