Sorry about that folks: Let me attempt to spell that name again:
Allaman.

 

I have just discovered a very useful website for French and German
genealogy under the surname: Allaman.  These folks are related to the
famous Allemani Tribe, well known in European medieval history. Other
surnames include: Allemog, Malliet, and Rinker. The website is:
