Richard that is funny as Rita and  I have family in the 1600-1700 who lived
in that area. Ebenezer Miller and Hannah Burt who are our 6th
greatgrandparents.

Jim and I are going to go to Duxbury where are West family first came and to
Concord where our Dakin family lived I would like to go to Martha's vineyard
if time allows. The Cape Cod etc.

present a full-day of genealogy lectures by esteemed experts entitled, "The
Berkshires, Life in the Past Lane IV," at the Williams Inn on September 15,
beginning at 8:00 a.m.  The program includes:

8:00AM-9:15AM Registration and browse the vendor booths; deposit raffle

9:15AM-10:15 AM Meldon J. Wolfgang
"To the Honorable the Board of Supervisors...":  A Genealogist's Guide to
Identifying and Using the Obscure and Uncommon Records of Local (City, Town
and County) Governments. This lecture will identify a variety of uncommon
records which can be found at the local government level that are often
overlooked by genealogists. The lecture concentrates on, and draws examples
from, 19th and early 20th century northeastern local government sources.

10:30AM-11:30 AM Elizabeth Winthrop, Author of Counting On Grace
"Researching Counting on Grace."  As compelling as the novel itself is
Winthrop's search for the real child behind the original Lewis Hine
photograph.

Ancestor - Civil War Soldiers and Homesteads."
